In reading Ephesians 3 I’ve always been struck by this phrase:

[quote_box author=”” profession=””]”I pray that you may have the power to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.”[/quote_box]

And while thinking of spiritual power and revival, I’ve been ruminating on these four phrases.

A renewal is only as wide as the prayers that feed it.

A reawakening is only as long as the faith that compels it.

A reformation is only as high as the love demonstrated by it.

A revival is only as deep as the repentance that precedes it.

Are these phrases true? How would you say it differently, or better, or emphasize it? Are you seeing my points?
